No one under the age of 12 may ride as a passenger in a GEM.
The total weight of your passengers, accessories and cargo must not exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating listed in your Owner’s Manual.

Make sure the seat belts are secured for the driver and all passengers before operating. Never exceed the maximum occupant capacity of your vehicle.

Never carry passengers on the rear platform, as passengers could be throw off, which can cause serious injury or death.
